Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what data PPC Cards (“we”, “the App”) collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights. It applies to the web app, the iOS app, and any version distributed through an app store.

1. Information we collect

• Account info — when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email, display name, and profile photo URL from the identity provider. We store these in Firebase Authentication and in your user document in Firestore.
• In-app profile — screen name, friend code, friends list, family list, and the games you have joined or completed.
• Gameplay data — your moves, scores, archived match history, and the state of any game you are seated in. We need this to run a real-time multiplayer card game.
• Chat content — the messages you send in table chat or direct messages, and the timestamp on each. Messages are stored in Firestore and visible to the other members of that chat.
• Push notification token — if you enable push notifications, we store your device’s Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can notify you when it is your turn or a friend invites you to a table.
• Diagnostics — Firebase logs basic error and performance information (crash reports, latency, function invocation counts). We do not collect contact information, location, or browsing history.

2. How we use it

• To run the card games you play — deal cards, score hands, track turn order, persist scores.
• To let you find friends, accept invites, and chat at the table.
• To send push notifications you opt in to, including “your turn” pings and table invites.
• To enforce safety: every flagged chat message is queued for moderator review within 24 hours. We may take action on your account if you violate the community rules.
• To debug crashes and improve performance.

3. Who we share it with

• Other players at your table see your screen name, profile photo, and chat messages.
• Google Firebase hosts our infrastructure (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, FCM). Their privacy practices apply.
• Cloudflare serves the web app static assets and CDN.
• Apple and Google deliver push notifications to your device.

We do not sell your data, do not run third-party advertising, and do not share data with marketing partners.

4. Your rights and choices

• Edit or delete your screen name in Settings.
• Block a user from the chat action sheet to stop receiving their messages.
• Disable push notifications in Settings or in your device’s system settings.
• Request account deletion by emailing the address below. We will delete your user document, gameplay archive, and authentication record within 30 days.
• Export your data — send the same email and we will return your archived data as JSON.

5. Children

PPC Cards is rated 9+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account.

6. International users

Your data is processed and stored in Google Firebase data centers, primarily in the United States. By using the app you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.

7. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). Firestore enforces row-level security rules that prevent users from reading or modifying data they do not own. We do not store passwords — sign-in is delegated to Google or Apple.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page and surface the update in-app. Material changes will require you to re-acknowledge before continuing to use the app.
